Fantastic!

We had over one hundred people at Nine Lessons and Carols in the congregation alone, and almost 40 in the choir.  It had a great atmosphere to an awesome performance and we glad to see you all there.

Yesss!

A youth event for secondary school children
Yesss! logo
Henleaze Youth Work Project are putting on two youth nights, on 19th June and 17th July, 7.30 – 9.30 pm, at Westbury Park Methodist Church.

They will feature: Wii, table tennis, a nail bar, art, fruit smoothie-making, a tuck shop and a “Chill Room”.

Tree Aid

Description: Tree Aid is a local environmental charity based in the South West, but operating in rural Africa to restore and preserve their woodlands in a way that benefits the local community. They are one of the Church in Westbury Park’s supported charities for this year, as they are also for the Westbury Park Festival.

As part of Connect 2010, Tree Aid will be coming to Westbury Park Methodist Church to talk about their work. Please come along and find out about this fascinating and important organisation – and to see what you will be supporting. More details on the flyer.

Connect 2010 Arts Festival

Full of colour, texture, sound and movement, planet Earth has always inspired people to the pleasure of artistic expression. Now that we face the great challenges of climate change, can art help us to recover a celebration of and care for planet Earth?

Churches Together Westbury Area

CTW presents the Connect 2010 Arts Festival, a local celebration of the Earth in art. Friday 18th to Sunday 27th June, at various venues in the local area. Leaflets are available in any CTWA church and online.

Free children’s concert
