40th Anniversary of the Westbury Park LEP

November 29th this year is the 40th Anniversary of our LEP (Local Ecumenical Partnership) here in Westbury Park. To celebrate this fact we will have a special service on Sunday 28th November. The former General Secretary of Methodist Conference – Revd David Deeks and the Archdeacon of Bristol – Revd Tim McClure are going to be with us and we would like to invite back as many
old friends as we can get in touch with too.

So please can you put the date in your diary and if you are in touch with anyone who used to be part of our two churches (or are one!) please could you pass their contact details to Abigail in the office so that we can invite them to share in our celebrations.

Connect 2010 Arts Festival

Connect 2010

Full of colour, texture, sound and movement, planet Earth has always inspired people to the pleasure of artistic expression. Now that we face the great challenges of climate change, can art help us to recover a celebration of and care for planet Earth?

Churches Together Westbury Area

CTW presents the Connect 2010 Arts Festival, a local celebration of the Earth in art. Friday 18th to Sunday 27th June, at various venues in the local area. Leaflets are available in any CTWA church and online.

The Electoral Roll, Annual Meeting and a bring & share lunch

The Electoral Roll is being revised prior to the Annual Meeting. Anyone who is not already on the Roll (if you have joined the church in the last 12 months for instance) and now wishes to be added, please obtain the appropriate form from the back of the Church or from Margaret Seaman, Electoral Roll Officer.

The annual meeting itself will be held on Sunday 25th April, after the 10.15 service.  This meeting will be an important step in the church as we will for the first time be appointing a joint Ecumenical Parish Council rather than two separate committees, so please do turn up.  The meeting should be expected to last until almost 1pm, when anyone who wishes to is invited to a bring-&-share lunch.
